SupportingLives is fuelled by the volunteer efforts and the commitment of thousands of employees in Danone's Baby Nutrition and Medical Nutrition Divisions. This international giving programme supports the well-known and respected charity SOS Children's Villages, and was launched in 2006 by the Dutch-based food company Numico, which became part of Groupe Danone in 2007.

SOS Children's Villages, an international NGO, works to provide permanent, stable homes for orphaned and abandoned children in a family-like structure.
