The photos in Galleries 1 and 2 are from a February 2006 trip to Indonesia. Michiel Quarles van Ufford (Numico) and Budi Satria Isman (Sari Husada) travelled with Albert Jaap Santenbrink of SOS Children’s Villages-Netherlands to an existing SOS Children’s Village in Bandung. The trio also distributed food to local children and had the opportunity to visit the site of the village being built in Medan.

The photos in Gallery 3 document the construction progress of the Medan village as of July, 2006. The activity centre, main hall, community centre, kindergarten, guest house, and family houses are under way. Pictures will continue to be updated as building continues.

Gallery 4 showcases the Supporting Lives kick-off event organised by Milupa / Nutricia Portugal, with pictures of our Portuguese colleagues visiting the SOS Village Biscesse near Lisbon. Portugal is the first country to sign up for the Supporting Lives programme and is leading the way for other countries to follow .
