Dumex Vietnam has sponsored the 2007 Summer Festival for 120 good students of 12 SOS Villages in Vietnam on July 2, 2007 in SOS Village Dalat. This is a biannual event to reward SOS children from 12 different SOS Villages in Vietnam who are top 3 in class. This year, the students stayed one week in the SOS Village in Dalat for team building, sight seeing and having a performance competition; painting exhibitions.

The Local SupportingLives Team has joined the opening ceremony together with Dumex Vietnam’s Representative – Andre van Regenmortel (Marketing Director) and handed to the children 120 "SupportingLives" back-packs for the children. They also meet with leaders of 12 SOS Villages in Vietnam and share plans with them and the Government Officer (Deputy Director of the Youth – Social and Culture Committee of the National Assembly)

At the end of the ceremony everybody was happy to hear that Numico is living the SupportingLives program worldwide. Some of the directors of the SOS Villages in Vietnam came to see the SupportingLives team sharing their feeling that this program will provide our care to the children in the Villages.
