As a market leader in baby food and clinical nutrition, the Supporting Lives programme brings together the whole family of Numico's businesses around the world, in one shared effort of community giving to help vulnerable children.
In searching for an organisation dedicated to this mission that is as global-minded as Numico, we have partnered with SOS Children's Villages, which has earned universal respect for its work over many years. SOS Children's Villages, an international NGO, works to provide permanent, stable homes for orphaned and abandoned children in a family-like structure. SOS has a presence in 37 countries where Numico also has operations, making it an ideal partner in our shared mission to ensure that more children grow up in a safe and caring environment.
The Supporting Lives programme develops and promotes activities both inside and outside the company. Within the organisation, the strategy is to provide direct employee collaboration through donations, social contributions, volunteeriing and fundraising. The Supporting Lives programme combines these efforts with external promotional campaigns and supporting activities for SOS Children's Villages in order to create awareness and fundraise to fulfil these needs.
All funds raised are transformed into tangible projects in which all contributors take great pride, and so that children really feel that we care.
