Numico Research starts brainstorm on Supporting Lives project

23 January 2007

The major focus of Numico Research employees is research. But—like in their research projects—once something has their attention, they are very enthusiastic! This is what happened during a first presentation to learn more about the Supporting Lives programme at the Numico Research head office in Wageningen, Netherlands on 23 January 2007.

Many creative ideas with the same starting point

The presentation on SOS Children’s Villages and Numico’s commitment in the Supporting Lives programme has alerted the Research colleagues in the Netherlands. After this session they were given the assignment to come forward with ideas for a project. Many creative ideas have been born since. All ideas have the same starting point: use the Research expertise and capabilities to help some of the most vulnerable children in the world.

Expertise in infant health and nutrition

While Numico Research in Wageningen, Netherlands is already developing ideas for a project, our facilities in Friedrichsdorf, Germany will join the project. With common expertise and passion regarding infant health & nutrition, the two research establishments will develop a joint Supporting Lives project.

Follow-up

In March Numico Research will evaluate all ideas that have come forward. Next, the Supporting Lives projects will be further elaborated.
