Sari Husada kicks off local SupportingLives programme

11 April 2007

SOS IndonesiaPartnering with SOS Desa Taruna Indonesia, Sari Husada adopted SOS Village in Cibubur–Jakarta. The programme which brings together the whole family of Sari Husada in shared program activities was launched in the village.

Paint SOS IndonesiaAt the launching event attended by Sari Husada’s and it’s subsidiary management and employee involved about 100 SOS children who nicely performed a traditional dancing and painting activities. They are very talented children!

Supported by the company’s marketing support division in the program, we provide singing and art classes to SOS Children. The program involving professional teachers aims at developing the children’s talents and potentials. In SOS Indonesia, children loves singing and painting but they do not have regular teacher who can teach them how to sing in a better way. The singing class is divided into three classes: Kindergarten, Elementary and High-School. Up to date, there are about 80 children have already registered.

Dancing SOS IndonesiaThe singing class program at SOS is also tied up with our CRM program that also provides singing and art class for our consumers. Through these shared programs we will bring together SOS’s children and our customers as one family. We will also have a plan to make an event together i.e to celebrate National Children Day, where they can perform what they have learnt.

This is only a start; we hope the activities launched in SOS Jakarta will be followed by similar activities in other SOS Villages in Indonesia that will involve more children and employees to participate.
