Our sales unit in Belgium had a press conference in De Karmeliet, a 3-star restaurant in Bruges, where 50 babies and their parents were invited, as a result of a competition around 50th anniversary of Olvarit.

During the press conference Hans Peters, managing director Belgium gave a speech about “SupportingLives” and the commitment to SOS Children’s’ Villages. Ronny Mosuse, a famous singer in Belgium, and an orphan himself, gave a heart-warming testimonial about SOS Children’s Villages. The managing director of SOS Children’s villages Belgium, Hilde Boeykens, explained the mission and strategy of their organisation.

At the end of the event a cheque of the first 50.000€ was handed over from Nutricia to SOS Children’s villages, in presence of Geert Van Hecke, chef of De Karmeliet. The event was taken up by most of the Belgian newspapers also with a reference for the Units commitment to SOS Children’s Villages.
